Book this one-to-one class with chef Clare and you’ll get a thorough and complete introduction to basic cookery, perfect for complete beginners, those about to leave home, or anyone who wants to feed themselves and their loved ones with confidence.

In this five-week course, you will learn:

  • Knife skills

  • Simple, adaptable sauces

  • Omelettes and other egg dishes

  • Vegetable and salad prep

  • Basic fish cookery

  • Basic meat cookery

  • Desserts, and a fail-safe cake.

You'll learn plenty of tips and tricks and get recipe/fact sheets to keep.

Capacity: This class is for 1 person, however you can find the class for 2 people here, 3 people here, or 4 people here. This is also dependent on the size of your kitchen space available.

This is also offered as a single classes, for individuals and groups of up to four people, here.

Ingredients: Cost of ingredients included.

Duration: 2.5 hours per class, over a 5 week period.

Contains: Gluten, Eggs, Fish, Milk, Celery, Mustard. But can be adapted to omit any or all allergens.

Location: This class will take place from your home.

All speciality equipment will be supplied by the teacher.
